East Westphalia-Lippe

In the north of North Rhine-Westphalia the region East Westphelia-Lippe is located, shaped by the Weser River and the Teutoburg Forest. In its heart you can find the town of Herford surrounded by the neighbouring towns Bielefeld which is one of Germanys twenty biggest metropolises, Bad Oeynhausen with its parkland of the state garden exhibition Aqua Magica and Bad Salzuflen, famous for its spas, impressive graduation works and the biggest hedge maze of continental Europe Hortus Vitalis.
